Power to Make offers CNC cutting services using our 3-axis CNC router and 7-axis Robotic milling. The CNC machine can cut a standard panel size of 8 x 4 feet or 1220 x 2440mm up to 50mm thick. It can perform operations of profiling, drilling, pocketing, engraving and 3D surface milling. For 7-axis milling, please contact us to discuss your requirements.

We stock FSC certified quality birch plywood of various thicknesses which is ideal for furniture making due to its quality, strength and consistency. We can source a variety of other sheet materials through our suppliers or alternatively you may source your own material for delivery to our workshop. Our machine is able to cut sheet materials including plastics, timbers, and composites, if you have a particular material in mind please enquire first.

We are able to take your CAD files in most formats, or if you only have a dimensioned sketch we can CAD this up for you. We can prepare animated simulations of the cutting sequence for more complex jobs so you can review the results before committing to milling your actual material. If you intend to submit your CAD file please refer to our submission guidelines for layer naming conventions and other advice.

We charge a competitive rate for our service; this includes any CAD work required, toolpathing, machine set-up and cutting. For larger projects, we can charge for the day or half day at discounted rates. If you submit your requirements to us we can provide you with a detailed quotation. We aim to respond within 24 hours to all enquiries. You can submit your design file through our DropBox link, together with sending us details of your job requirements through our Contact us form. Please note uploading a file through our shared Dropbox folder doesn’t give us your contact details, therefore we are unable to respond unless you Contact us.
